Traeger puts the finishing touches on a small silver gargoyle and slips it on its chain.... he had created a mold and made one for each of the gargoyle offspring... for Mera a small mermaid is suspended from a chain.
He is very proud to be standing for his Granddaughter in the ceremony and thinks how much his wife would have loved the vigorous active little girl. Traeger daydreams of the future... hoping Chloe has her mother's creative flair. It would be good to teach her some of his skills .
Rowan remains a constant in his thoughts; he never takes for granted her skills and personality... she brings light into his world each time they join and his heart is bound to her. Rowan has been watching over Grace whenever she can appear without seeming to hover, though Tori keeps her up on Grace's decline.
