Stars smile is a little sad. She wishes Cassie could be here too, not just her spirit. It must be awful to be able to see your baby, see everyone else hold her and care for her and knowing you cant even touch her yourself.
Erik notices the change in Stars eyes but she keeps her thoughts to herself. She smiles at Keon and says, “The dress is perfect. Cassie would love it. Do you want to dress her or should I?”
Keon smiles and nods, “You... I dont know if I can manage a dress... if you dont mind milady Star..”
“I dont mind at all. This is the first time she will be all dressed up.” Star takes Mera into the bedroom. She had already given her a bath and she sings to her as she dresses her in her naming dress. Star closes the door and slips into a sundress, the soft pink cotton gently swirls around her. She ties her hair back, and lifting Mera from the bed is ready to go.
Erik gives a low whistle as she enters the living room with Mera. “You both look absolutely beautiful. Mera is going to be a heartbreaker and you... there are no words... I am speechless...”
Star blushes when she sees the way Erik is looking at her, her eyes varying from pink to purple when she returns his gaze.
Keon sees the heat in Eriks look, certain that it was echoed in his own. Star was a beautiful woman, some of her shyness fading since her marriage. “My brother, I believe we have been graced with the blessing of the Goddess walking.”
Star blushed even more and laughed. “Stop it... today is not for me, it is for the little ones. It is their special day...”
Erik was wishing he could send his thoughts to her like the gars did. He wanted to tell her the night was going to be for her....
