Grace had insisted on signing the final papers for the Gallery earlier in the evening. She told Tori and Torrent she had to tie up some loose ends. To that end, Flights Of Fantasy now belonged to Gar Enterprises. The name would not change, nor would the casual air of the shop. The shifter girl who had been working part time had done well and Grace did little more than supervise at times and work on her own projects. Tori took the young woman aside as Grace showed Torrent her gifts for her friends. The woman shook Tori's hand and left, promising to be there early the next day. Grace looks after her, then at Tori.

"She agreed to take fulltime. The money will be a big help. Her parents are not that well off and she still lives at home. She wants to talk about having some of her pay deposited into an account at the bank. I called your lawyer and accountant to meet with you tomorrow."

Grace nods. She settles onto a couch in the main room as Tori and Torrent close the shop. Tori watches her carefully, noting the tired lines in her face, the slow movements. Torrent murmurs to her, keeping his voice too low for Grace to hear.

"She is refusing any more of my energy. She won't let me help her anymore."
