Alise is stunned for a moment then tears fill her eyes. “Chiot, why didnt you tell me?”

She is pulled into a warm embrace, Stoneys grandmother kisses her cheeks and rubs her back. “I see you have been busy since we were last here and my grandson is as happy as I ever seen him.”

Alise blushes and Abuele laughs. “We all have large families, nothing wrong with that.” Her attention turns to Tara while Alise is greeted by Stoneys mother. “You...you have a special gift, I can tell, even for a gargouille.” Taras eyes are dark and serious as her Abuele speaks to her. She can feel the love and acceptance from the old woman and starts to giggle at the images she sends her.

Turning to Stoney she says, “I dont think much escapes this one. You will have your hands full... Now get the baby out of that contraption so we can see her properly.”

Stoney takes Gracie out of her carrier as Star and Erik arrive. Introductions are made and Mera is passed to the family while a surprised Star watches closely. Alise puts an arm around her telling her not to worry.

Tomas sends pictures of Wolf and Lobo to his papan, wanting to know where they are. Stoney shakes his head, “We will ask Tante Star after supper.”

Alise looks around the room and sees Keon standing off to one side, his attention obviously on Mera. She excuses herself and tells Stoney she will be right back. She can feel his thoughts caressing her as she walks, and his Wait until later, Chaton, makes her cheeks flush.

She stops in front of Keon and holds her hand out. He looks at her puzzled for a moment, then shakes his head when he realizes she intends for him to join the family. “Milady Alise, I cannot...”

“Yes you can. I will not take no for an answer. You are part of Stars and Eriks family, blood brothers I hear. Is this not true?”

Keon nods his head slowly, wondering how Stoney deals with this stubborn little woman.

“Well, Star is as close to me as any sister. That alone makes you part of my family, that and the fact that I would choose to have you as part of it anyway..” Alise stretches her hand closer, “Come, I am getting hungry. And Mera loves to see her da...”

Keon smiles, and takes her hand, letting her lead him to the group.
