Alise gasps and turns to Raina. “Thats why you werent at the tavern last night.” She takes Rainas hand in her own, then Nicks in the other, “You didnt have to do this for us...” and tears fill her eyes.
“Well, there is a catch..” Raina laughs, “You cant cry... its forbidden. This is a party..”
Alise swats at her, “Dont tease me. It is very generous of you, of all of you... thank you..”
“Dont be silly, I had to show off our new house some way or another. And besides, you are my sister, and Tara is named after my little sister. I wanted to do this for you.”
Raina glances around at the babies, all held in grandparents arms. “I hope someone brought a camera. They all look so nice dressed up.”
“Yes, we should take pictures. Tomas isnt liking his nice shirt. He wants to put on his Batman t-shirt...” Alises words fall off as she hears what sounds like a choking sound from Nick.
“Nicholas, are you all right?”
Raina, forcing down the laughter says, “Oh he's fine.”
Nick says “Did you say Batman shirt?”
“Well yes, he loves it. Its all he wants to wear since Jack gave it to him...”
Raina cant hold the laughter in and Nick looks like he swallowed something the wrong way.
“What is wrong with you two? Its just a t-shirt...”
Still laughing Raina turns to Nick and says, “He could have given the boy a stuffed bat....”
Nick swats at her behind, “Do not give him any ideas...”
