Tears stream down Tara's cheeks as she huddles in the bed between Mera and Chloe. Chloe's small spell hides the distress from their Nanny. Tomas touches his sister's mind, soothing her.
They all feel the relief of their parents, taking that to mean their beloved "Uncle" lives. Chloe uses a corner of the blanket to wipe away Tara's tears as the children keep up a pretense of sleeping peacefully.
