Inari rises slowly and takes a deep breath, trying to control her emotions.

Pausing at the entrance of the gazebo she sees Star, talking to Alise. Turning to Torin she says, “I need to say goodbye to a few people...”

At his nod she walks to Star and explains what has happened.

Stars eyes turn gray, sensing the pain Inari is in at the thought of Torin going back to the Unformed Plane. 'I knew the messenger was coming... Please tell Titania that I love the horse and thank her for me. Will you come back?”

Inari smiles at Star, “Yes, I will be back, but I am not sure when. I will give your message to the Queen....” and before Inari can get another word out Star hugs her. Inari is frozen with surprise for a second but then returns the hug. “I'll be back, take care of yourself and your family.”

She turns to go to the patio where most of the guests have gathered. K'thyri and Gareth, having heard the news from Torin meet her partway.

“Do you need me to ride along? I know he has been called back to the Plane. Are you going back to court?”

Inari shakes her head, “There's no need. I will ride part way with Torin and go to see Tychus I think. Unless the Queen summons me before then. But I thank you, my friend.”

Ky puts an arm around her friend, “I hope you have time to fuck him senseless before he rejoins his troop...”

“Ky! You are impossible.... Take care, we will meet up soon...”

Laughing at Inaris embarrassment, Ky says, “We will. Take care my friend. Safe journey.”

Inari turns to thank Raina and Nick and say goodbye. They tell her she and Torin are welcome anytime and to please come back when they can. A sharp whistle, the sound of hooves and reins and they are gone.
